Fun singing afternoon and festive concert for children aged 5 – 14.

During the run up to Christmas, why not take a break and let your kids enjoy a fun-filled workshop on a Saturday afternoon, followed by a concert on Sunday for the whole family at the iconic Albert Hall in Nottingham.

Get into the Christmas spirit with lots of well-known Christmas songs including some familiar favourites!

Young singers will be joined by other members of the MfE ‘singing’ family too on the concert day for this mega-Christmas extravaganza!

Singers will be divided into two age-group choirs:

Vocals 1 (school yrs 1-3)

Vocals 2 (school yrs 4-8)

Music packs, including lyrics and audio tracks, will be sent out approximately one month before the event, giving everyone the chance to learn the songs as best they can before the singing afternoon.

We don’t want anyone to be excluded from MfE activities because of their financial circumstances and there is a subsidised scheme available for any who needs it. Please contact kirstie@music-for-everyone.org if this is the case.

How to join the support team

We welcome parents and carers to join the support team at the Vocals course and concert. Our wonderful volunteer team, made up of MfE friends, parents and carers, help with registration, general supervision of a group of children, setting up and down (some heavy lifting and moving of equipment involved) or running the popular tuck shop. Joining in the singing is also strongly encouraged but not essential!

You can also specify if there are any tasks you would prefer to help with, if you would like to be near your child or if there is anything you cannot do when we contact you closer to the event.
