Daytime Voices, Nottingham Festival Chorus and Daytime Orchestra members, past and present, are invited to take part in a special celebration massed concert on Sunday 2nd July at Nottingham’s Albert Hall. More details about each groups involvement is below, you are welcome to join in with more than one group on the day, you will be able to indicate this during the booking process.
The enrolment fee for this event is £20. This includes all music, rehearsals, the concert, a souvenir programme and post-concert refreshments!
Daytime Voices
The combined Daytime Voices Choir will perform a medley of songs from the musical Oklahoma!
They will also join singers from other MfE groups for:
Hail! Bright Cecilia – a specially commissioned fanfare for choir and brass to celebrate MfE’s 40th birthday
O Fortuna – the opening chorus of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana
Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah
