Nottingham Festival Chorus presents
The Creation
Saturday 7th February, 6pm
Albert Hall, Nottingham
Join the Nottingham Festival Chorus for an immersive, multi-sensory performance of Haydn’s choral masterpiece The Creation. Fine Artist and Composer, Caroline Bordignon, will bring a dynamic, visual dimension to the performance – as she paints in real time, her evolving artwork will mirror the unfolding drama of Haydn’s score, from the chaos before light, to the emergence of life and nature. Through her exploration of colour, light, space, and time, and the ways these elements interrelate through synaesthesia, Bordignon will create a profound synthesis of sound and image – music inspiring art, and art, in turn, amplifying the expressive power of music.
