Monday 13 August at 5.15pm – Rush Hour

Professional choir, Blossom Street, is a highly versatile and vibrant choir comprising some of the UK’s best young singers. They perform regularly on TV and radio as well as on the concert platform and have released two critically acclaimed CDs on Naxos.

Tuesday 14 August at 5.15pm – Rush Hour

Owen’s career as a top violinist has encompassed many aspects of the performance world; he has held positions in many of the top British orchestras including the CBSO and BBC Philharmonic. He has been a member of several quartets whose work has included concerts in the USA, Finland, Belgium and Germany, including a live performance on Netherlands radio, and was most recently a member of the Galitzin Quartet.

Pianist Hilary Suckling is an accomplished and versatile musician and teacher, with extensive performing and educational experience. A graduate from The Royal Academy of Music and University of Cambridge, she has given recitals as soloist and chamber musician throughout the UK and Europe.

Wednesday 15 August at 1.30pm – Lunchtime

Accomplished brass players, Simon Baker (trombone) and Tim Thorpe (French Horn) have years of experience playing in top professional orchestras including the CBSO, London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, the RPO plus as session musicians in top West End Shows.

Brass players are welcome to attend the afternoon workshop with Simon and Tim on Wednesday 15 August from 2.30pm – 3.30pm (after the recital) for £5 per player for just the workshop or £8 for the recital and workshop (NB Those already enrolled on Summer School are automatically allocated a place)

Tickets £5 each or £12 for all three concerts. Available on the door each day.

NB Please note the office will be closed from Monday 13 – Friday 17 August.
