Join the Nottingham Chamber Singers and organist Henry Parkes, for an evening of transcendental music to uplift and inspire. We’ll take you from the sparkling, heady heights of Jonathan Dove’s Seek him that maketh the seven stars, to the haunting and mellow sonorities of Kodaly’s Missa Brevis, known for its powerful and emotional contrasts and rich, folk-infused harmonies. Our second-half work is the timeless and universally loved Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, optimistic and utterly beautiful, it never fails to bring peace and restoration to those that hear it.
