DESCRIPTION:Music for Everyone \nAssistant Artistic Director \nEmployer: Music for Everyone \nHours: full time (flexible) \nSalary: £26\,000 – £30\,000 subject to relevant skills and experience \nMusic for Everyone is a dynamic\, independent\, community-based arts organisation with over 35 years’ experience in devising and running innovative music participation events across Nottingham and the East Midlands. It enjoys a strong reputation for providing people of all ages with high quality opportunities to make music\, develop creatively and have fun\, all within a dynamic and caring environment. It provides progression pathways\, culminating in specialist ensembles for both singers and instrumentalists. \nThe role of Assistant Artistic Director is an important new role at Music for Everyone. \nWe are looking for an experienced\, creative and inspirational music educator/practitioner\, with a commitment to oversee\, support and enhance Music for Everyone’s existing artistic programme and the passion to lead a step-change in our youth outreach development and schools engagement work. \nThe successful candidate will be a music specialist with a proven professional track record of devising and running dynamic music projects for children of all ages\, abilities and experience and working at an advanced level with adult ensembles. A particular interest in choral work would be an advantage. \nThe role is based at our Nottingham offices and is being partially funded by the Nottinghamshire Music Education Hub which is delivered by Inspire https://www.inspireculture.org.uk/services-schools/nottinghamshire-music-hub/ \nMusic for Everyone is pleased to consider applications on a full-time salaried basis. \nDeadline for applications: Friday 13th December 2019 \nStarting date: Thursday 2nd January 2020 or as soon as is convenient for the successful candidate. \nThe interview process will have two stages.
