Vocals May 2012

19th, 20th and 27th May 2012

Singing Days for Primary School Children

Come and sing in our new Disneytime course and concert, including songs from the new Muppet movie!

For this event we will be singing favourites from The Muppet Show and Movie, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Tarzan and Toy Story - see the full track list with You Tube clips by clicking here

Vocals! courses are weekend singing events for children of primary school age. They regularly attract up to 250 singers.

Our Vocals events allow singers to experience the thrill of singing as part of a mass choir and also provide the opportunity to be an integral part of a smaller choir. The smaller choirs are divided into three age-groups:

Vocals 1 - school years 1 & 2
Vocals 2 - school years 3 & 4
Vocals 3 - school years 5 - 7

There are no auditions. The children are carefully supervised and conducted by specialist leaders Alison Bennett, Helen Hayes and Jane McDouall who have a fun approach to singing and give everyone the chance to perform a variety of music in a friendly and secure atmosphere.

Copies of the music and a rehearsal CD are sent to you before hand so that you can begin practising in your own time.

Vocals May 2012 will provide the opportunity for participants to sing will known disney songs and songs from the new Muppet's movie (see below).
