Music for Everyone invites players to come and explore the wonderful string orchestra repertoire under the baton of an expert.

Richard Howarth is a distinguished violinist and a dynamic conductor with a wealth of experience leading and directing orchestras. The music chosen for this workshop features Beethoven’s extraordinary String Quartet Op. 131 arranged for string orchestra by Sir Colin Davis and Britten’s youthful Simple Symphony.

The workshop is to be held on Saturday 21 April at the Bluecoat Academy, Aspley Lane campus followed by a performance on Sunday 22 April at St Peter’s Church, Ruddington.
