About Mark De Lisser

Do you remember hearing the stunning choir arrangement of Stand By Me at Harry and Meghan’s wedding last summer? Mark De Lisser arranged it, and we are delighted to say he is coming to Nottingham to lead a special vocal workshop this March at the Cathedral.

Mark De Lisser is a vocal coach, choral director, arranger and author who has been working in the music industry for over 18 years. He sang as a boy in a church choir in Brixton, South London and his love of spiritual music, soul and gospel shine through his unique approach.

He’s worked as a voice coach on The Voice UK (ITV 2016), The Choir (BBC2 2016), Pitch Battle (BBC1 2017), Eurovision (BBC1 2017-19) and SING: Ultimate Acapella (SKY 2017). Mark is currently leading the vocal team on All Together Now.

We are very excited Mark is visiting Nottingham this March and we’re sure he’ll lead an inspirational session with plenty of ideas and techniques for singers to take away. Whatever your singing background may be, don’t miss this exciting opportunity!

If you’d like to participate, secure your place by emailing kirstie@music-for-everyone.org

On the day contact will be Alex Patterson 07792618634. This is a 3 hour workshop so please bring plenty to drink.

This event is free (100% subsidised by Arts Council England/DfE) and is organised by Nottinghamshire Music Hub, Nottingham Cathedral Music and Music for Everyone.
