Saturday 13 July: Percussion Workshop, percussion/Drumkit players grade 4+ Sign up here!

9.30am: Registration

9.45-11.45am: An opportunity to perform on the full range of tuned percussion (glockenspiel, xylophone, vibraphone and marimba) as well as timpani and drum kit.

The workshop will be led by Jackie Kendle and will include improvisation and popular repertoire which we will perform in the 7pm concert.

Parts will be available before the workshop.

12.30pm – 1.30pm: An hours workshop for drumkit players to try the full range of tuned percussion instruments as well as timpani! The workshop will be lead by Jackie Kendle and no preparation is needed, come and have a go!

Open to piano players of grade 5+

From 9.45am, Players will be contacted with details of their playing slot.

Coached by experienced organist and teacher, Mike Smith, experience the thrill of playing one of the finest instruments in the country, the mighty Binns organ at Nottingham’s Albert Hall.

Places for this experience are limited so please apply early.
