Blow The Dust Off Your Instrument

Did you learn to play an instrument when you were at school but havent got it out of the case for a long time? Or have you taken up playing an instrument in adult life just for fun? If the answer is YES then come along to our Blow the Dust off your Instrument playing day.

This playing day will give you the chance to renew your old skills or put new-found ones into practise in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The instrumental parts will be sent out in advance of the course, to give you time to get to grips with the notes ahead of the day itself.

The January programme includes sessions for full orchestra, strings and windband; while the June Ensembles Day provides opportunities to play chamber music and jazz.

The principal conductors are Angela Kay, Chris McDouall, Phil Smith, Ann Allcock and Kerry Lovell.

Please note: This course is not suitable for players of a standard below Associated Board Grade 2.

Our Next course will take place in Jan 2011 please join our mailing list to be sent more information.
